Review of Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008) by Sarah A — 05 Dec 2008
Utterly charming film with great performances all around. Truly evocative of the era it portrays it's one of those films that makes you want to jump through the screen and walk around in that world drinking it all in.
Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies' Pie Maker) is wonderful as a British pianist...in fact a lot of American actors do darn good accents playing Brits in pre WWII London. Washes the bad taste of The Libertine out of your mouth too! :).
