What an utterly charming affair! :) I had heard that this was funny, but I had no idea how jaw-dropping hysterical it was - within the first couple of minutes I may add! This film is an incredible farse, with some great laughs and touching moments.
It definitely never loses that great momentum throughout the course of the film and keeps the viewer completely engaged. The only gripe I have is that everything makes sense at the finale, except Miss Pettigrew's personal ending.
I'm sorry, (SPOILER) having 3 conversations with a guy after ONE DAY does not garner a marriage proposal. That was rediculous. Otherwise, I had a swell time - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! :D.
