Review of Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008) by David R — 21 Aug 2009
This movie was delightful! I adore Ciaran Hinds & he was dapper & distinguished & dreamy in this movie. Frances McDormand was great with her British accent channeling a down-on-her-luck Mary Poppins.
Amy Adams was bubbly & bubbleheaded but completely captivating. Shirley Henderson's babykins voice is mesmerizing! She's a great villain. Loved the music, the clothes, everything! This is a sweet escape.
I want the soundtrack! I love 1930s music.
