Review of Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008) by Stephen S — 29 Aug 2009
I was completely prepared to hate this movie. It grew on me. The story is a familiar movie theme but the acting of Frances McDormand was more than enough to capture attention and keep it as the story developed.
Her character was someone frequently overlooked and dismissed but as her character is revealed, you discover what a great gem she is. Recommended.
