Review of Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008) by Ryan R — 23 Nov 2008
The movie itself is okay, but the performances give it a much needed push in the right direction. Amy Adams is as adorable and bubbly as ever, and Francis McDormand fully commits to the role, like she always does.
But, like I said, the movie isn't particularly great. You know what's going to happen, you feel no real attachment, and you forget about it almost immediately. It has its moments and a great cast, so it's worth a look.
