Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Bill R — 06 Nov 2016
I've never read the book so I'm going straight off the movie. it didn't look like a typical Burton film from the start but the further it it gets darker. Aside from the silly music this could of been made into quite a horror movie but they made it more on the lighter side of scary instead.
Butterfield wasn't right for the job as the main kid, his acting is just short of a double bogey and it definetly shows in this film. zthe best role goes to Ella Purnell as Emma, she pulled off alot of things on the movie I caught onto that is slight or very subtle.
Over all it is a movie worth watching.
