Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Bily T — 04 Dec 2016
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children is an average movie this was done by Tim Burton who did Nightmare Before Christmas, the 1989 Batman movie, the Live Action Alice in Wonderland movies and many more. Tim Burton's works start good but what comes up must at some point come down and Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children almost bought back the goodness that Tim Burton once had.
This film has a okay story, good set of interesting characters, a nice selection of cast members, great music, some funny jokes and some good CGI.
The downsides to the movie has to be with some of the jokes where they don't hit the right mark like they should do, some parts of the story feel boring and very bland in some parts and that the suspense was a bit too serious for the most part.
But outside of that this was an average movie I don't know if I should recommend this movie but if you still enjoy the newer stuff Tim Burton puts out the past few years then you can get some enjoyment but if your not than this might not change your mind or it will put you in the middle of things if his movies are good or not anymore.
I give Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children a 6.0 out of 10 a hit and miss movie and if you still feel like seeing it I'd give it at least one watch.
