Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Madmaxfuryroad — 01 Oct 2016
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a beautifully told fairytale that reminds almost everyone of X-Men. The trailer was pretty impressive, so having not read the book, I was very excited to see this film.
From start to end, this movie did not drag a single bit and I was very satisfied when I left the theater. Al the performances alone were praiseworthy. This film also had some humor, which really worked, and also some dark, scary scenes.
My theater was completely filled with children and they were all laughing at the humorous scenes. The film had a decent runtime and I was very happy when I left because the ending was more than satisfying - it left a beautiful message.
