Review of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016) by Linttaflamingo — 29 Sep 2016
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a hit or miss. You either like it or hate it. It has the Tim Burton weirdness in it that we all know and love, and it has the gorgeous look. But it starts very slow and the movie is literally just pouring information on you, and only then we get to see the actual home of Miss Peregrine and her peculiar children.
And then the movie gives us a plot that doesn't really feel like it connects. Or maybe it does, I have no idea. It's definitely a hit or miss. The best parts of the movie are the scenes with Miss Peregrine or Samuel L Jackson.
