Review of Miss March (2009) by Dave A — 14 Feb 2010
Miss March? More like Miss Stinker.
Unfortunately this movie is living proof that a sketch can end up in overkill, look no further than this directorial debut from two members of the TV sketch comedy group "The Whitest Kids You Know", who not only co-direct but also take on writing and performing duties. Unfortunately the show, which can be funny, occasionally ends up in territory where the sketches outlast the comedy, turning them into tedious, unfunny bits that need to be put to sleep like a dog. Miss March just happens to extend that out to an hour and a half of badly staged humor, misdirection and overacting.. There are some humorous bits, but this movie plays more like a bad straight to DVD movie, that should've ended up just as that: straight to DVD.
