Review of Miss March (2009) by William M — 28 Jul 2010
Yes, this is a sex-crazed movie, but it is a funny movie too. The two main characters are friends since childhood, played by Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore, who are also the directors it seems. Well, Zach's character is virginal and innocent and believes in abstinence. Trevor's character is the sex-crazed fiend which leads to the humour in the movie. :) Well, a good portion of it anyways. Zach has been with his girlfriend for 2 and a half years and on prom night, his girlfriend finally wants to have sex with him, even though they both promote abstinence to others through presentations, as seen in the movie. :) At a party, Zach is nervous and Trevor convinces him to take a drink or three. Through this, Zach is drunk and goes through the wrong door and lands himself down the stairs and into a coma.
4 years have passed and Zach wakes up, after being hit in the head with a baseball bat by Trevor. :) So after being in a coma for 4 years, his body is in atrophy in that his muscles don't quite work yet and that leads to a few good jokes later on in the movie. ;) So after he wakes up and has no idea about the time that passed, Trevor finds Zach's girlfriend in a Playboy magazine and Trevor schemes a plan to get them both into the Playboy Mansion to reconnect the girlfriend, played by Raquel Alessi, and Zach. Hilarity ensues and you're along for the ride. :) The jokes may be stupid at times but they will make you laugh. And of course we get to see Hugh Hefner, which is always fun, but without his girlfriends. Though, we do get to see Sara Jean Underwood, who was a Playmate of the Year, so that's fun too. :).
Well, although there's lots of sexuality in this one, or at least sexual scenes, I hope you get to enjoy the film and get to laugh over all that takes place. :).
