Review of Miss Austen Regrets (2008) by Katie D — 17 Jun 2008

It was just alright for me. I did not like how they put so little reference & passed over her past relationship with Tom LeFroy - as if he was just a mindless crush to her. Looking at her true history & letters it's obvious to me that if there was one man she was really in love with, it was Tom-& every other man was either a joke or only considered by her because she was "desperate".

But this movie mostly focused on her life as an aunt & sister - which they did very well.
