Review of Miss Americana (2020) by Kandtwelch — 31 Jan 2020

I laughed out loud, I cried five times, and I was inspired the whole way through. Through the director’s lens I learned that Taylor Swift is exactly who I knew she was: a brilliant, imperfect, funny, brave, strong woman who dealt with adversity in a way most never could.

If I was a celebrity, I would want to handle it the way she does - surrounded by her family and people that she loves who keep her balanced and grounded through the highs and the lows. Tremendous film, intriguing subject.

I only wish it had been twice as long to dig further into her successes, work ethic and battles.
