Review of Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters (1985) by Jose P — 18 Jun 2007
Powerful, beautiful and bizarre. It looks at the life and works of Japanese author Yukio Mishima in an astonishingly creative manner. The soundtrack is mesmerizing, the story a brillian look at the nature of beauty, art and tradition.
Also to be noted is the astounding set design; it's otherworldly beyond anything I've ever seen in a film before. If you can find it, watch it.
