Review of Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters (1985) by Zachary P — 12 Jul 2008
The idea of doing three threads, Yukio Mishima's life, his works, and his last day when he committed seppuku, and doing them in three different cinematic styles, is beautifully realized in this movie.
The works presented as over stylized and saturated sets is great too. A fantastic movie in form alone.
