Review of Misery (1990) by Jonathan M — 06 Jul 2010
Stephen King's parable about being held hostage by over-zealous fans of genre fiction is still a fun conceit even if it isn't very nuanced (the number one fan is, you know, crazy). Apparently, it is much less violent/misogynist than the book, but it's still hard to overlook the whole overbearing mothering of Bates.
