Second only to Stanley Kubrick's adaption of 'The Shining', this take on Stephen King's thriller is indeed chilling in every sense of the word. Kathy Bates plays the embodiment of deranged beautifully; one of the most terrifying of psychopaths in cinema history.
James Caan is just as great. I may not be this film's "number one fan", but it's definitely one that I will not soon forget.
