Review of MirrorMask (2005) by Oscar S — 21 Jun 2008
A very nice magical-realism piece by Gaiman and McKean. The visual art is quite impressive and atmospheric, and the story is appropriate, though a bit conventional. The weaving of visuals, music, plot are perhaps not spot-on in all places, but on the whole I found it a very enjoyable and impressive film.
