Review of MirrorMask (2005) by Simon-Félix L — 14 Jul 2009
Neil Gaiman's first advertised foray in the film media falls short, as themes and storyline read as prototypes to the vastly superior "Coraline". SFX look good, but are so overblown that they'll soon lull your eye into a sleepy stupor.
The rest is badly acted ho-hum. Gaiman's fascination with cats comes up as one of the film's strong points.
