Review of MirrorMask (2005) by Jane A — 12 Aug 2009
It is hard not to be overwhelmed by the visual effects in this movie until you realize that there is no real story to back it up. It is difficult to try to create a fantasy like Alice in Wonderland or the Wizard of Oz because you need to have the compelling story to go with the fantasy world.
This movie did not have that story and bordered on boring. I would recommend seeing it but be warned that the visual effects start wearing off quickly.........
