This movie tried to turn Snow White on its head, but it failed miserably. While I was expecting an "Ever After" sort of retelling, I got nothing but campiness on an extremely underwhelming backdrop.
(I guess they spent all their money snagging Julia Roberts). The prince was the only redeeming part of this movie; overall the story was empty and boring. I recommend Snow White and the Huntsman instead.
