Review of Mirror Mirror (2012) by Karen Y — 08 Dec 2012

My daughter and I loved this movie from beginning to end! We both gave it 10 out of 10 stars, which is a rarity for us. The actors and actresses were great in this movie! Lily Collins was perfect as Snow White, she really grew into her character.

The dwarves were hilarious. They had all different personalities. One was in love with Snow, one was always grouchy, my daughter even thought that Chuckles looked alot like a miniature Jon Gosselin from Jon and Kate Plus 8.

I loved how they took Snow in and trained her to fight the evil queen. Speaking of the evil queen, Julia Roberts was so funny and wicked at the same time, a perfect evil queen. Armie Hammer was an excellent prince.

There was this one scene where he and Snow met that was hilarious! Nathan Lane as Brighton was a great role for him. He had to be loyal to the evil queen but he cared deeply for snow white. They did a twist on the whole apple/kissing to wake up bit that was in the original animated Disney film, which I liked.

It's a very odd but lovable movie, kind of like Johnny Depp in Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, and I mean that as a good thing :) Overall this is a wonderful movie and we enjoyed it thoroughly! I want to see it again already! I would definitely recommend this movie, it even has a cute music video during the credits.

Go get this and enjoy.... You'll be surprised, I sure was!
