I think we are being too harsh on this movie. Maybe if it was rated G it'd have gotten higher views, and it should have gotten both-the rating and reviews. Is Mirror Mirror the best rendition of the Snow White story? No, but it is the best live action that I've seen for children.

Sure it has it's week points but even the best Disney live action revamps (101 Dalmatians, Ella Enchanted, Hook etc) have their's as well. If we just sit back and enjoy the film for what it is - a children's movie, not meant to be compared to the animated story - we'd see the heart in it (if we compared the animated story to the grimm story we'd feel very differently about it) Therefor B+.
