Somewhere in the raw footage is a delightful film, with tighter shots, better edits and a pace that illustrates some ability as a storyteller. Until someone uncovers that (beyond the end credit sequence, which is pretty lively,) Singh will be known as the new old George Lucas: a man who conjures fantastic visuals but couldn't capture a performance to save his life.
