Review of Mirror Mirror (2012) by Oxana — 23 Aug 2014

A slightly different take on the classic tale of "Snow White".

Julia Roberts gives it a lot of spice as the Evil Queen - and not in all the ways you might expect. As in the previews, she brings a lot to the table. Lily Collins as Snow White was... well, not great, but good enough for the role. Prince Alcott (Armie Hammer) gets more than he's prepared for when visiting the kingdom. The dwarves were entertaining and funny, just as the rest of the story, but even with the overall laughs it wasn't an awesome film.

Enough for a couple watches, however, and some silly fun with a classic story.
