Being a longtime fan of Julia Roberts and a new fan of Lily Collins, I am predisposed to love this movie. A "fresh" take on the Snow White story, however I had a hard time keeping the Disney version out of my head.
I liked some of the revisions - the Dwarves as bandits, the strength and resolve of Snow. I was a bit less happy with the campy humor, but it wasn't overbearing and didn't ruin the experience.
A mighty fine family movie.
