Review of Miracle at St. Anna (2008) by Bennett W — 01 Apr 2009
Dissapointed in that I thought there'd be more a mystery and a twist ending (I saw the ending a mile away)... trailer got me psyched, then I was let down. I agree with the general sentiment that there were too many plot points to follow, most of them unecessary.
They basically just sit in the town for the whole flick. Reminded me of Open Range in that the main characters stay around one central location (in that case the town, in this case the village) for a long time until the climatic fight scene at the end.
Oh and random 2 minute cameos for John Tuturro and John Leguizamo.
