Review of Miracle at St. Anna (2008) by Milinda A — 22 Apr 2009
It's a shame Lee takes so long to say very little in this meandering, wasted effort. The intent is admirable and vital, so had more of the story been able to focus on the ironies of the Buffalo Soldiers' treatment it would certainly have had more resonance.
Otherwise this is a well acted but somewhat unfathomable, oftentimes melodramatic (with bizarrely bombastic score) sidenote in the less well-honed annals of WWII.
