Well after the trailer I thought this looked really good, but once it kind of disappeared started to worry about it, and I was right to.

The story is some old boy shots a man in the face at work for no apparent reason it seems. We then get the guy's story during WW2; about a group of 4 'buffalo soldiers' get stuck behind enemy lines. They find themselves looking after a wee boy, and get caught up with some resistance guys. Simple story it seems, can't stretch for 2 and a half hours you say?? Well it did.

The film gets off to an excellent start. It successfully sets up an interesting story, followed by some pretty good battle scenes. After that it gets pretty strange and some of it seems like a joke, like how the statue head gives you powers. This part is laughable. So once the actual story kicks it this film really slows down, and some of the acting and script is really poor. Although I will add the 4 leads are not that bad. The final shootout is once again fantastic, and then the films wraps up in a very clean manner which is a bit pants.

Perhaps best to avoid this one, or just watch the first 20 mins and last 20 mins, save yourself 2 hours.
