Review of Miracle at St. Anna (2008) by Ellen G — 26 Dec 2009

Before I even saw this, I heard a lot of controversy about it. Either people loved it or they hated it. This was a very powerful piece and Spike lee had me crying at several points. This was very brutal, but keep in mind war is just that and there's no sugarcoating that, ever.

Also in war there's no happy ending. This was well told and I loved that he kept the languages intact and didn't use some actors with bad accents. This was very well done.
