Review of Miracle at St. Anna (2008) by Dj J — 02 Nov 2010

It's almost appalling to me that Spike Lee would make the four primary cast-members into jiving "step-it-and-fetch-it negroes." Did he want their words to belie their bravery and intelligence in the face of a white hierarchy that didn't believe in their ability? Coupling the horrible script with the snail-crawl pace and lack of flow between spoken word and subtitles, and this movie ends up being awful.
