I am a World War II Buffalo Soldier. I was in combat with the 92nd Division from the beginning, August 23, 1944 until the end of the war. I was wounded and received the Purple Heart during one of our many combat actions.
The movie has many plots and sub plots but is says one thing quite dramatically, "Black infantrymen did fight in bloody combat against the Nazis during World War II.
