Review of Miracle (2004) by T S — 27 Sep 2009
"Miracle" is a film that is a rather complex portrayal of a man who took a bunch of amateur hockey players from diverse backgrounds and orchestrated the magnum opus of American hockey and reinvigorated a nation.
Great storytelling and camera work. Kurt Russell was phenomenal. I appreciated how faithfully the games were choreographed (the choreography was done exactly how the original game was played, but the cameras were placed on the ice to give a closer look into the game).
I might be a fool to ignore this film's inadequacies, but spare me, the story is too good.
