A sports movie done right, relying on just the star power of Kurt Russell and a realistic cast of nobodies to tell the tale of American's crowning sports achievements, just as was the case in 1980.
The hockey scenes are terrific, and the movie captures the amazing run for the Stars and Stripes in Lake Placid.
