Review of Miracle (2004) by Neil O — 19 Feb 2014
The Greatest Sports Movie covering the Greatest Moment in Sports history. The acting of the actual NCAA hockey players is raw emotion, Kurt Russell portrays Herb Brooks beautifully, and the camera angles of the games is stunning. The authenticity is remarkable, the Final speech by Russell gave me goosebumps, and the emotion of the Miracle seen is REAL. Al Michaels on the broadcast in the movie just as he was in 1980 did his job perfectly and the actual final 10 second call was a nice touch. This is the standard that all sports movies should be based on. This is the movie that hockey players will watch over and over again (as I have) forever.
"Do you Believe in Miracles? Yes!".
