Review of Miracle (2004) by Olivier A — 15 Apr 2010

I am huge fan of sport movie. Most of this movies has very bad production of sport scenes. Then, very good movie could be degradeted only to average, but Miracle was not this case. If I vanished all that dialogues and scenes about patriotism (nevertheless I guess americans are the nationalist and they behave exactly the same like in the movie) I would give 4 stars.

Every cut and scene on the ice is precise, all players scated like professionals, I guess Curt Russel acted the Herb Brooks credibly and movie as a whole shots a lot of emotions. I like ice hockey, and I lived though czech "miracle on ice" (Nagano Olympic games) but I thing this team succes (university players defeated ice hockey gods by their team spirit, will and coach yearn) has been more valuable than any other.

I only regret I was not able to live through.
