Review of Minority Report (2002) by John C P — 22 Jan 2012

Minority Report is a stunning Sci Fi thriller that just completely blew me away and is definitely one of the best of the Sci Fi genre. Minority Report is takes place in out nations capital in 2054 were they have "Precrime", a system were "precogs" predict future murder and the police arrest the person before they kill the victim.

All is good until Officer John Anderton is accused of killing someone he doesn't even know and because of this he is know on the run trying to prove his innocence. Now he has 36 hours to be proved innocent and also needs the help of one of the precogs, Agatha.

Before I saw this movie I honestly didn't know what to expect because I heard allot of people say that this is a fantastic movie and others say it's just alright. To me I already thought it was amazing but I didn't know weather I should give it a five or not but after thinking I realized I had no problems with this movie at all and everything about this movie is so incredible.

To me this is probably one of the top five Sci Fi films ever made and one of the best movies I have watched. The whole story of this movie was just amazing but some times movies with really interesting stories don't work out but this film doesn't disappoint.

I mean the whole concept of this movie is just amazing and the way the future is it's just so awesome. With all this awesome future stuff it has an awesome story to go with that kept me interested all throughout the movie.

This movies side stories also keep you very interested as well unlike some movies but this movie's side stories would always have something to do with the main plot and thats one thing that kept me really interested with this film.

Minority Report also works as an awesome thriller because this movie made me feel as if I were in the movie and kept me at the edge of my seat. This movie has plenty of scenes were the were I would just stand up and wait to see what will happen next because I always wanted to know what will happen next in this movie unlike some movies were I could care less.

Minority Report also has an awesome cast that is perfect for this movie and brings amazing performances. Tom Cruise gives one of his best performances and that's one thing I really like about Cruise is that he always seems to give a great performance other than a couple of his movies.

One thing I really liked about Cruise's character is that I also got really involved with his drama and always wanted to know what would happen to his character. Colin Farrell gives a great performances in the the supporting role and one thing I liked about his character is that all throughout the movie I had to guess all throughout the movie weather he was a bad guy or not.

Samantha Morton is also amazing in her role as a precog and actually made me believe that she could be such a weird person. Overall Minority Report is a stunning film that I think allot of people can enjoy but some others might not.
