Review of Minority Report (2002) by Cheyne L — 13 Apr 2012
This is probably my favorite science fiction film of all time .. not only does it have a killer plot and near perfect script, what really makes this film is the all encompassing vision of a dystopian future world, where the technology is as scary as anything else in the world because it seems so real .
. the attention to detail in the design and believability of the the technology is astounding, what from the energy pulse weapons, to videos stored on tiny clear chips, the beautiful interaction user interface with computers, the design and functionality of the futuristic lexus' and transportation in general, I mean, I could go on-and-on .
. it's a great meditation on fate and choice and the implications of predicting the future .. I really can't praise this film enough, epic in scope and startlingly intimate in a way that Philip K Dick source material has a way of doing .
. if you haven't seen it, drop everything and illegally download it right now! (just kidding .. downloading copyrighted content is illegal and shouldn't be done by anybody at anytime).
