Review of Minority Report (2002) by Sean S — 14 Nov 2012
A distinctive visual style, captivating storytelling and a talented adaptation and expansion of Philip K. Dick's original short story, Minority Report also successfully carries over some of the aesthetics from Spielberg's previous film A.
I. to make it the memorable, futuristic tale of a mixed utopia/dystopia it is. Tom Cruise and the rest of the cast are also at the top of their game, and if the plot of this film doesn't make viewers question the nature of legality in the future given technological advancements (maybe barring precognition), then they're not paying attention.
