Review of Minority Report (2002) by Natalie F — 17 Nov 2012
Although it's pretending to be smarter than it really is, Minority Report is a good contribution to the sci-fi casebook. The flaws are made up for by the action, and the weaker acting is superseded by how memorable the film is.
Perhaps if this was released after the flood of Inception, Recall, Cosmopolis better-than-life films, it would be judged more harshly, but as it stands, Minority Report is now a classic film that explores a morality crushing plot device which sufficient thrills.
