Review of Minority Report (2002) by Matt M — 16 Jun 2013
Set in a futuristic world, an enforcer of a futuristic system of justice which is based on crime prediction find himself on the run after the systems predicts a crime he hasn't committed yet. A unique concept brought to life by Spielberg in a science fiction meets modern noir style that adds a visual and atmospheric depth with Kubrickian elements, a territory which Spielberg had already visited in A.
I. Thrilling and exciting, as well as based on a provocative idea which raises issues that could be debated upon, Minority Report is one of those science fiction films which gets less credit than what it may actually deserve.
