One of my favourite Cassavetes films, and one of the few that is so good humoured. A screwball comedy updated to the 70s, with a hilarious pairing of two nutcases, but not without a share of pathos and hard-hitting drama, as these two kooks develop a hard-won relationship within their ugly little worlds.
