Review of Minnie and Moskowitz (1971) by Eduardo G — 30 Jan 2011
Easily the most accessible of any of the cassavetes stuff i've seen and it's still totally crazy. supposedly cassavetes considered this movie a fairy tale and, in the sense of love conquering all, it kinda is.
it's just a really loud, obnoxious one. I was surprised to be actually kinda happy at the end. I would consider this a good starting point for someone who's unfamiliar with cassavetes' work.
