Review of Mini's First Time (2006) by Pamela F — 21 Dec 2008

I don't know why this movie was on my list but when I got it I was like "what the heck, just give it try".

I had read the reviews on this movie and many of them gave it pretty bad reviews but it seemed to have an interesting plot so that is probably why I added it.

Anyway, one of the first things that kind of made me go OMG was the fact that Nikki Reed was in this movie. Didn't really pay attention to the actors when I looked at it before so I didn't exactly remember but seeing as I saw Twilight only a couple of days ago, faces to tend to stick.

This movie, unlike some, I actually found rather enjoyable. It was funny in a kind of disturbing way. The main character of Mini has a very twited mind and she probably needs help more than her mother but she is smart and it makes an interesting story line. I thought at first that the story would be really basic but it keeps throwing in new twists and it felt a lot longer than 1 and 1/2 hours. It was also really well balaced as well. However there were a lot of get to the point moments which drew it back a bit.
