Review of Minions (2015) by Armytimo — 21 Jul 2015
Attending that movie in the theater is a COMPLETE waste of good money. If your kid must see it, rent the DVD put him or her in front of the TV and go do something else. The movie is like an animated docudrama about the history of the Minons.
It is not funny, glorifies rebellion against authority, celebrates evil, seemingly takes joy in the destruction of church architecture. There is unnecessary sexuality as well. It has little plot, no theme, and no redeeming underlying message.
I'd rather pay full price to watch Ishtar in the theater rather than see this movie again. Yes, I said Ishtar.
