The few moments of humor and enjoyment to the film are undercut by the sheer lack of need for this film. Yes it's for children, but there is no need to see this movie; just as there was no reason for it to be made.
An uneven tone, lack of good material for the plot to work with, all add to a sense of questioning: why did this movie get made?
