I found 'Minions' to be relatively disappointing. It is a decent movie, but nothing to recommend to any friends or family. It lacks the belly laughs that you may have received from the Despicable Me movies as it only provides few giggles.
I found Sandra Bullock's character to be very forgettable and they really needed something impressive there to carry the movie. Needless to say, Minions can not carry a movie on their own.
