It wasn't that funny. The minions were funny as a sidekick in a bigger movie. A movie all about them is kind of repetitive. It kind of ruined minions for me. The next Despicable Me movie that comes out, they will have lost their charm.
It's sort of like cake frosting. It's the best part of the cake but if you try to eat a container of it with a spoon it becomes nasty.
