Review of Mindwarp (1992) by Jacob F — 29 Jun 2007
Bruce Campbell saves this from being utter crap, though he's not nearly in it enough, to elevate it to being craptacular. There are some interesting ideas here, including the obvious religious metaphors (later seen quite similarly in the Matrix).
However, character development is nonexistent, the dialogue is utterly and singularly awful and while it has something of an interesting plot, anytime you have more than 2 "it was just a dream" twists, it makes your movie rather pointless.
