Review of Mindhunters (2004) by Zac M — 19 Mar 2009
The only reason I wanted to watch this film is because of Wayne Kramer, he didn't direct this but he did write the screenplay. Kramer wrote and directed "Running Scared" which is perhaps one of my favorite films of all time.
The movie presents several enjoyable characters, and provides opportunities to get acquainted with each of them. You won't necessarily be emotionally attatched to someone when they're gone, but you might wish they stuck around a bit longer.
"Mindhunters" is a fun thriller with some sudden what the hell moments, but that's what you want from a film like this. The killer comes up with some pretty spectacular scenarios which lead to the death of his victims, some were expected and others unexpected.
In the end I really appreciated the finale, like the rest of the movie it just kept me guessing and it was a reasonable pay-off.
